Christophe graduated from a Business School in Paris, France, and worked in the IT and Pharmaceutical industries in France and in the US before obtaining an MBA in Financial Studies from the University of Nottingham (England). He then joined the BNP Paribas group in 1993 as an auditor before moving to the Risk department of the bank where he held several positions linked to country risk, credit risk and capital adequacy. In 2001, Christophe joined the Structured Finance department of BNP Paribas CIB in order to help developing the Credit and Political risks Insurance product mainly within Energy and Commodities business lines. He then took the responsibility of Trade and Insurance Syndications for BNP Paribas CIB in 2003 and strengthened the CIB Insurance Solutions set up by creating GreenStars BNP Paribas in 2009, a wholly owned Insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas dedicated to Credit and Bond. Christophe is married and has 5 children. He likes singing and practising many types of nautical sports.
